San Diego DEFCOMM is a proud partner with our region's excellent education institutions - with historical support and Board participation by representatives from UCSD, SDSU and Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College district, as well as cooperative efforts with K-12. San Diego DEFCOMM understands that a successful future for the Defense industry requires a well educated - math and science oriented - population.

San Diego DEFCOMM provides resources to fund basic research and supports cooperative efforts to transfer technology from research to products.

San Diego DEFCOMM also provides internships for college level students in support of various projects and programs, and works with industry partners in support of programs for K-12 students.
